Platt's Black is a unique selection that features feathery foliage of an unusual bronzy-black shade, bearing insignificant green flowers during the summer.
Because of its spreading tendency, keep this away from slow-growing alpine plants that might get smothered.
Platt's Black Brass Buttons is easy to grow in almost any soil that does not completely dry out. It will grow in full sun or partial shade but, where we're at in the South, we think it looks and performs better with some shade in the afternoon hours.
